Training Opportunities for Melon growers
Melons Australia, in partnership with the Hort Innovation Melon Fund, is looking to fund up to 22 training and development opportunities for the Australian melon industry. One of the courses on offer is the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Foundations of Directorship Course.
The foundations of Directorship course offers a three-day program spread across a 4-week period and provides aspiring directors with a comprehensive overview of the main components of directorship (Governance, Finance and Strategy/Risk).

Funding Available: The full cost of this course is in excess of $3000 however through the Melon leadership program melon levy payers have only to pay the nominal fee of $400. Note: these opportunities are open to all personnel within the Australian melon industry, however there is a co-contribution funding model in place for non-levy paying applicants (ie. non grower members of the melon supply chain) which we are happy to discuss further.
